Willi’s Problem

There once was a boy named Willi. He couldn’t talk but boy he could sing. He sang in the classroom, story-time, in the car, in the bathtub, and in the bathroom! He sang and sang until his parents and teacher got a little fed up. They decided to tape it at home and at school. 

Before school his teacher hid a tape recorder near the cozy corner so Willi wouldn’t notice it and last night Willi’s parents hid another tape recorder in the bathroom. When Willi woke up he had to go to the bathroom. His parents took him to the bathroom and secretly switched the record button on. Later on at school Willi’s teacher decided to start off the day with story-time. It worked perfectly. 

When Willi’s parents came to pick him up, Willi’s teacher secretly passed them the tape, which the teacher had listened to at recess to make sure it didn’t fail. In the car they let him listen to what he had done earlier that day. 

Willi hated it so much he covered his ears and learned a valuable lesson. Never sing if you aren’t in music class.
